I see articles about perfectionism causing anxiety in teenagers (and I live it at home with mine), and I see similar anxiety with teachers comparing themselves to edu-celebrities. Ironically, many of which are no longer in the classroom and not feeling the daily pressures of balancing expectations with student needs with standardized tests with questioning parents and principal observations and disconnected report card grades and etc etc. I appreciate this post, Doug.
